Travell time, Sweden's high-speed railway based on InfraMag trains
Fast passenger transport between towns requires the stations to be centrally located in the cities. Otherwise, the traveler must change means of transport at least once more at the start and finish, which significantly extends the travel time. It is possible to keep current stations, even when the new tracks rest on pillars. Equally important for shortening the journey time is that the trains do not have to wait for freight trains on the tracks. The ideal is to have separate tracks for passenger and freight trains.
The time taken by train from one place to another does not depend solely on its speed. The Swedish Transport Administration conducts regular investigations into how long delays affect passengers and goods. Everything from power outages, signal failures, stolen wires, brake failures, collisions with animals or other traffic, to snow obstacles, wet leaves and queues on the track occurs here
How long does the train journey take between different locations with InfraMag trains? The Swedish negotiation has specified travel times for the planned routes, and the AMCCT specifies the estimated time required. The times for the AMCCT trains are calculated so that the start and braking distance are included as well as a stop of 2 minutes per station.
The journey times in the tables refer to the same stations as planned by the Swedish Transport Administration / Sweden negotiations.
With inframag, higher speeds can be achieved
With our solution according to inframag, significantly higher speeds
can be achieved and 600 km/h should not be a problem. The trains are
also safe and cannot derail. This means that you can safely drive at
those speeds and you can look around at your surroundings. You are
not enclosed in a tube that prevents you from seeing your
surroundings and makes your experience of the trip negative.
Planned the expansion which can be found in the Swedish Transport Agency's material
The map to the right shows the planned expansion of Sweden's high-speed railways. We follow it as much as possible in our expansion.
Compilation of what InfraMag can achieve when it comes to travell times on the new main line
Speeds up to 320 km/h can apply to standard train solutions. Up to 420 - 600 km/h applies to InfraMag trains
